BigBasket occupies a spot in Indian ecommerce that’s genuinely hard to categorize cleanly. It started as a scheduled, slot-based grocery service with a catalog deep enough to replace a full monthly shopping trip, and it has since layered BB Now — its own 10-to-15-minute delivery format — on top of that without abandoning the wider assortment. The practical effect is that the same product can carry two different availability states and sometimes two different price points, depending on whether a shopper orders for next-day slot delivery or instant delivery from a nearby dark store.
That dual model is precisely why a generic quick-commerce scraper or a generic grocery-marketplace scraper each miss half the picture on their own.
